The Territorial Youth Council of Sakania recently unveiled its strategic development plan for the 2023-2024 financial year. This plan, drawn up during an annual budget meeting, aims to implement concrete actions in five main committees.
Among these commissions, we find Legal, Administrative, Political Affairs and Initiation to New Citizenship, which aims to make young people aware of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Another commission focuses on employment, projects, agriculture and the environment, with the aim of promoting youth entrepreneurship and developing sustainable agricultural initiatives.
Sport and leisure are also at the heart of the strategic plan, with a commission dedicated to the organization of sports activities such as football, basketball and volleyball. Another commission focuses on communication, media, public relations and logistics, in order to promote the activities of the Territorial Youth Council to the public and potential partners.
Finally, a commission is dedicated to social affairs, gender, health and relations with the churches. This commission aims to fight against youth abuse, promote gender equality and improve access to health services for young people in Sakania.
The President of the Territorial Youth Council, Gaston Mumba Mutoya, expressed his satisfaction with the development of this annual strategic plan and called on the privileged partners and the government to support its implementation. He also appealed to the commitment of the young people of Sakania to contribute to the development of their territory.
