The Territorial Youth Council of Sakania is preparing its strategic development plan for the 2023-2024 financial year. This day of budgetary assembly was organized with the participation of the members of the council, under the supervision of the administrator of the territory, Nicolas MASAKU MUSOLO.
In his closing speech, Gaston Mumba Mutoya, President of the Territorial Youth Council, congratulated the participants for their involvement and their contribution to the development of this annual strategic plan. The latter aims to set up several projects aimed at promoting the development of the territory of Sakania.
Among the priority areas are agriculture, fishing and livestock, which will be supported in particular by the active participation of young people from Sakania. The objective is to fight against food dependence by promoting local production. In addition, sports activities such as football, basketball and volleyball will be organized to promote the well-being of young people.
The strategic plan also emphasizes the defense of human rights, the fight against political manipulation, the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the promotion of gender equality. Concrete actions will be put in place to renovate the CTJ Sakania office, raise awareness about the protection of young girls and organize laughter and theater sessions to entertain and educate the community.
Finally, for the sake of transparency and communication, the Territorial Youth Council wishes to set up a website to share the activities and projects carried out by the young people of Sakania.
Gaston Mumba Mutoya also invited the privileged partners and the government to support the strategic plan of the Territorial Youth Council of Sakania and to engage actively in the development of the territory.
The next council session will be held in the commune of Mokambo, where new initiatives will be discussed and put in place to continue to stimulate the development and growth of the young people of Sakania.
