“The construction of a new terminal in Kananga: a flagship project for the development of Kasaï-Central”

The construction of a new terminal in the province of Kasai-Central is currently underway. Under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Peter Kazadi, the foundation stone laying ceremony was held in Kananga, the provincial capital.

The works, which will last nearly two years and cost an estimated 32,594,423 million US dollars, will be carried out on an area of ​​7,600 square meters. Deputy Prime Minister Peter Kazadi stressed the importance of this new infrastructure for the development of Kasaï-Central and the Democratic Republic of Congo as a whole. He called on the population to take ownership of this work launched by President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi.

It should be noted that the Kananga terminal is the third stage of a larger project to develop and modernize airport infrastructure in the Democratic Republic of Congo, after Kolwezi in Lualaba and Mbuji-Mayi in Kasaï-Oriental.
