Control of student diplomas in Kabinda to strengthen the integrity of the education system

Since Wednesday July 5, 2023, a delegation from the Ministry of Higher and University Education (ESU) has been staying in Kabinda, capital of Lomami province. The main objective of this visit is to monitor the academic background of finalist students from all higher and university institutions in the region. The Head of Delegation, Joseph Ngulube, stressed the importance of verifying diplomas and student records to ensure their validity.

During an audience with the governor of the province, the delegation insisted on the importance for the finalist students to prepare themselves by gathering all their files, in order to satisfy the various conditions required to obtain official recognition.

The mission of the Ministry of ESU in Kabinda is led by the provincial president of the conference of headteachers, Pierre Kabakila. The latter accompanies the delegation in its procedures for checking and verifying students’ diplomas.

This initiative aims to strengthen the transparency and integrity of the higher education system in the province of Lomami. By verifying diplomas and ensuring that finalist students have met all academic requirements, the Ministry of ESU contributes to the credibility of higher education institutions and the valuation of the diplomas awarded.

The actions of the Ministry of ESU aim to guarantee the quality of higher education in the Democratic Republic of Congo and to promote academic excellence among students. This mission of control and verification of diplomas is an essential means of strengthening confidence in the education system and promoting a qualified and competent workforce.
