The official launch of the 11th edition of the Pan-African Music Festival (Fespam) took place in the city of Sibiti, Lekoumou department in the Republic of Congo, under the patronage of Prime Minister Anatole Collinet Makosso. The technical team worked hard to ensure the success of the event, in particular by overseeing the construction of the stage and the official stand. The public, the artists and their groups were waiting for the continuation of the program which is held until July 15.
The festivities, which were inaugurated by the presence of Dolisiana, the mythical orchestra of Dolisie, will continue with the participation of several groups, such as Extra Musica Zangul from Roga-Roga, Extra Musica Nouvel horizon from Bébert Etou and Extra-Musica of Quentin Moyascko le Grand Moïse, who will take the opportunity to present his latest single “Ya Nzambé” released on September 4, 2022 on all download platforms.
The city of Sibiti is in turmoil and local authorities have erected banners welcoming festival-goers. The organizers, under the responsibility of the General Commissioner of Fespam, Gervais Hugues Ondaye, ensured that the atmosphere was there for all the participants.
