Military cooperation between the DRC and Indonesia
A new wind is rising in the Congolese Defense sector. Indeed, a letter of intent was signed jointly, Thursday, in Jakarta between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Indonesia aimed at the promotion and development of defense cooperation activities. This initiative was taken by the office of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of National Defence. This cooperation is aimed in particular at exchanges of civil servants and experts in the field, cooperation in the field of education and training and the development of the defense industry.
The guided tour of some Indonesian military industries was an opportunity for the DRC to strengthen its military equipment, modernize and set up its military industry, with a view to reforming the Defense sector and the rise of the Forces. armies.
