DRC news: When Bemba worries the mafia networks
The former vice-president of the Republic, Jean-Pierre Bemba, made a remarkable entry into the government of the Sacred Union, the coalition formed by President Félix Tshisekedi. However, this alliance does not please everyone, especially the mafia networks who are worried about its effectiveness at the head of the Ministry of Defence.
A false rumor, widely relayed on social networks, would have been launched with the aim of sowing discord between the two political leaders. Attacks that would reflect the fear of mafia networks in the face of possible sincere cooperation between Bemba and Tshisekedi for the restoration of security in the country.
However, since his appointment, the leader of the MLC (Movement for the Liberation of Congo) has undertaken to respect the deal concluded with Félix Tshisekedi, and refuses to overshadow him. His only ambition is to help the president impose peace in the troubled regions of the country, by restoring discipline and the observance of republican rules.
Loyalty, respect for commitments, common ambition to make the DRC safer and more stable… Jean-Pierre Bemba and Félix Tshisekedi are now walking hand in hand for a better future
