
This article relates the conduct of the national jury for the teaching of health sciences in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the 2023 edition. With the participation of 549 candidates, this competition is a key moment for aspirants in the field of health. Encouraging speeches from the provincial environment minister and the head of the provincial health office inspired the candidates to perform at their best. By emphasizing the importance of working calmly and taking time to reflect, they motivated candidates to overcome difficulties. The written tests of the first stage have taken place, while the second stage will be devoted to the oral tests. This competition, with only 35% of boys applying, highlights a gender disparity. The results obtained during this examination will have an impact on the image of the province of Kasai Central. This highlights the importance of aiming for a high pass rate and supporting emerging talent on their academic journey.
