Fatshimetrie and the Provincial Assembly of Haut-Katanga are jointly organizing a symposium from December 27 to 29, highlighting UNILU’s cooperation in solving social challenges in the province.
This prestigious event brings together renowned experts, addressing various crucial aspects such as the economy, agro-pastoral, entrepreneurship, defense and security. The objective is to propose concrete solutions to catalyze the development of Haut-Katanga.
During the opening ceremony, Jacques Kyabula, Governor of the province, expressed his full support for this initiative. He pledged to support these reflections aimed at energizing the region and transforming challenges into growth opportunities.
Michel Kabwe, President of the Provincial Assembly, praised UNILU’s commitment to finding solutions to the daily problems of the population of Haut-Katanga. In a passionate speech, Gilbert Kishiba, Rector of UNILU, highlighted the university’s vital role as a knowledge centre serving the community.
