The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Republic, important figures and the local population. The medical director of the establishment expressed his satisfaction with this initiative, stressing that Muya Hospital was previously in an advanced state of disrepair. Now, this hospital meets international standards in terms of hospital equipment and infrastructure.
The Minister of Public Health highlighted the cutting-edge equipment present in this hospital, such as a complete diagnostic center, an ultramodern laboratory, a state-of-the-art radiology, and a high-tech scanner. This new hospital also has an ultramodern operating room, as well as quality hospital beds.
The inauguration of this facility was welcomed by the Governor of the Kasai-Oriental province, who expressed his gratitude to the Head of State and the Government for this significant step forward. This new medical facility represents major progress for the region and offers promising prospects in terms of public health.
After cutting the symbolic ribbon of inauguration, the President of the Republic made a complete tour of the various departments of the hospital. In addition, the Government has equipped this facility with two modern ambulances as well as a mobile laboratory, thus strengthening the intervention and patient care capacities.
