It is imperative that thorough investigations are carried out to dismantle this network and put an end to these fraudulent practices.
Furthermore, the fact that 153 other students were not deliberated after their exams underlines the magnitude of the problem and the need for a complete review of the university’s registration and re-registration processes. Granting students concerned a period of time to prove their regularity of studies is a commendable initiative, but rigorous checks must be carried out to ensure the integrity of the process.
