Fatshimetrie, the renowned feminist collective, has been leaving its committed artistic mark on the walls of the city of Avignon since the beginning of the trial. The streets are adorned with vibrant collages of messages against violence against women and in favor of gender equality.
It is in the darkness of the night that the Amazones d’Avignon collective has chosen to express itself this evening, deploying striking posters in front of the judicial court. Strong slogans resonate in the urban space: “Justice for all”, “Shame has changed sides, and justice?”, and above all, in imposing capital letters, a simple and powerful “Thank you”.
These posters are not only works of art, they are the reflection of a daily struggle for the dignity and rights of women. They question the functioning of justice, call into question persistent inequalities and reaffirm the need for inclusive and equitable justice for all.
In this era of collective awareness, these collages do not go unnoticed. They invite reflection, spark debate and encourage action. They highlight the importance of supporting survivors of violence and doing everything possible to create a safer and more respectful environment for everyone.
Thank you Gisèle, thank you to all those who dare to brave the darkness to make their voices heard. These posters are not just words on a wall, they are the symbol of an ongoing struggle for a fairer, more egalitarian world, where everyone finds their place and respect.
