Charles Mudiay, the Director General of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), was recently honored by winning the highly prestigious Tombwama 2024 Trophy in the category of Best Public Official. Similarly, the construction of a large hospital center in Lubumbashi, specialized in orthopedics and equipped with cutting-edge technologies in collaboration with the German company Ottobock HealthCare GmbH, demonstrates Mr. Mudiay’s commitment to improving access to quality health care for all.
Charles Mudiay’s ultimate goal is to transform the CNSS into a true social security bank, aligned with international best practices and the recommendations of international organizations such as CIPRES and the ISSA. This transition would allow the fund to strengthen its financial resilience while offering a diversified range of services to its policyholders, thus meeting the complex needs of contemporary Congolese society.
