Fatshimetrie recently reported a high-level meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Moroccan Crown Prince Moulay Hassan in Casablanca. The meeting reflects the two countries’ commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership and supporting each other on issues of core interests.
President Xi Jinping highlighted the strength of China-Morocco relations, which have been marked by fruitful cooperation and dynamic exchanges in various fields. He recalled King Mohammed VI’s state visit to China in 2016, stressing the importance of the productive discussions he had with the Chinese president during that visit, which helped lift China-Morocco relations to a new level.
Xi expressed China’s willingness to continue working with Morocco to implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and promote new results in practical cooperation in various fields, within the framework of the Belt and Road cooperation.
For his part, Moulay Hassan conveyed to Xi the warm greetings and best wishes of King Mohammed VI, stressing the positive momentum of bilateral relations. This meeting reflects the solid strategic partnership between China and Morocco, based on mutual interests and fruitful cooperation.
