FARDC strengthens its fight against threats from armed groups in the DRC

In a context marked by the threat of foreign armed groups in the DRC, the FARDC affirms its determination to protect the country and its citizens. At a recent meeting, the Deputy Minister of Defense strongly condemned the ceasefire violations by the M23 rebels, stressing the importance of continuing military operations to counter the armed groups. The authorities are strengthening their commitment to security and stability, particularly in vulnerable regions. The FARDC remains mobilized to protect civilians and defend national sovereignty, thus underlining the crucial role of the armed forces in preserving peace in the DRC.
In a context marked by the imposing threats of foreign armed groups such as the ADF and the M23, the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) are firmly positioning themselves to protect the country against any aggression and to defend innocent populations.

During the 19th ordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers in Kinshasa on Friday, October 25, 2024, the Deputy Minister of National Defense stressed the determination of the authorities to take the necessary measures to contain any attack by the M23 rebels and their allies.

With determination, the Deputy Minister strongly condemned the ceasefire violations perpetrated by the M23 terrorists. He insisted on the need to continue military operations in order to counter the activism of armed groups and protect citizens in vulnerable regions such as North Ubangi, Bas-Uélé and Haut-Uélé, where the Mbororo rebels threaten the peace and security of the population.
