Massive Recruitment In Ibadan Civil Service, A Historic Opportunity For Graduates In Nigeria

Fatshimetrie announces a massive recruitment drive in the Ibadan civil service in Nigeria. The Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe, disclosed at a press conference that 230 education officers and 561 other positions would be filled in the civil service. This will be the largest recruitment drive in the public sector in the last two decades.

In order to ensure transparency and fairness in the recruitment process, prospective candidates will be required to apply online on the Oyo State Government’s dedicated portal from October 7 to 11. This is aimed at enhancing due diligence and ensuring a fair recruitment process for all candidates.

The selection criteria for positions requiring a university degree include obtaining a minimum of second class honours. For positions requiring a HND, candidates will be required to have a minimum of ‘credit’. Graduates of universities and polytechnics will also be required to present their National Service Certificate (NYSC) or an exemption certificate.

In addition, candidates for positions requiring the Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) must have a degree with a distinction of “merit”. These stringent criteria are aimed at ensuring the quality and competence of candidates selected for these positions in the civil service.

This massive recruitment represents a major opportunity for graduates to contribute to the development of the civil service and serve the society. It also underscores the commitment of the Oyo State Government to strengthen its workforce and deliver quality public services to its citizens.

In conclusion, this historic recruitment marks a new milestone in the history of the Ibadan Civil Service and offers young professionals a unique opportunity to participate in building a better future for their community and country.
