Fatshimetrie: DRC Women Entrepreneurs Join Forces to Revolutionize National Agriculture
With a view to boosting agriculture in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the NGO “Nyota Africa” recently launched a vibrant appeal to women entrepreneurs in the country. During a meeting in Kinshasa during the “Space 2024” event, the organization’s president, Dominique Nsangolo Nsansi, encouraged women entrepreneurs and business leaders to unite to initiate concrete projects for the development of the Congolese agricultural sector.
The need to implement innovative solutions was highlighted by Ms. Nsangolo. She highlighted the DRC’s enormous potential in terms of fertile land and abundant natural resources, stressing that the country has all the assets to become an agricultural power. To achieve this, it is crucial that women, as key players in the economy, actively engage in this vital sector.
One of the major objectives of this project is to provide local farmers with efficient equipment and encourage them to invest in modern technologies. These advances could truly revolutionize agricultural practices in the DRC and allow the country to fully exploit its agricultural potential.
Dominique Nsangolo stressed the importance of acquiring adequate equipment and establishing strategic partnerships to boost the Congolese agricultural sector, which has often been neglected in the past. This movement aims to strengthen the connection between women entrepreneurs while positioning the DRC as a future agricultural leader on the international scene.
This initiative launched by Dominique Nsangolo Nsansi demonstrates the commitment of Congolese women to play a central role in revitalizing the agricultural economy and the sustainable development of the country. By joining forces, they demonstrate their ability to transform the country, providing economic opportunities for future generations.
In summary, the call to action launched by “Nyota Africa” represents a decisive turning point in the inclusion of women in the development of agriculture in the DRC. Thanks to their commitment and determination, these women entrepreneurs are paving the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future for the Congolese agricultural sector.
