Since the first days of August, Congolese football fans have been eager to discover the latest news concerning the coordination president of Daring Club Motema Pembele (DCMP), Paul Kasembele. And finally, on Friday, August 9, Kasembele broke the silence surrounding his team during a much-anticipated press conference.
The DCMP, emblematic green and white club, launched into its pre-season with determination despite the restrictions imposed on it in terms of recruitment. Accustomed to these recurring challenges, the team strives each year to form a competitive workforce despite these constraints.
Paul Kasembele highlighted the obstacles facing the club, notably the system of third-party sponsorship of players, a practice which harms the composition of a strong and successful team. He openly denounced this practice, emphasizing that it is encouraged by certain internal structures of the club.
Faced with these difficulties, Kasembele has decided to adopt a radical approach for the coming season by recruiting young talents who will be entirely owned by the club. This strategy aims to counter the harmful influence of sponsors on players and to guarantee a stable team dedicated to the common goal.
The DCMP president also revealed that the team was disrupted by internal feuds, leading to the departure of two coaches. To restore harmony and rebuild the team, Kasembele decided to temporarily isolate the players before gradually reintegrating them into the group, once a new solid framework was established.
Despite this turbulence, the DCMP team is now training on the grounds of the Ngaliema military superior camp, with the return of 21 players, including Bingi Belo and Rachidi Assumani. Under the leadership of Egyptian coach Mohamed Faty, the club is preparing for a demanding season, with the aim of maintaining its status of excellence acquired in previous seasons.
In this quest for renewal and stability, the DCMP strives to turn the page on the tumults of the past to focus on the future and offer its supporters moments of glory and success on the ground. The challenges are numerous, but with the determination of Paul Kasembele and the entire team, DCMP is ready to face adversity and shine in the world of Congolese football.
