**Transparent and effective communication at the heart of a workshop in Lubumbashi**

Lubumbashi, July 20, 2024 – Transparent and effective communication was placed at the center of a workshop organized last weekend in Lubumbashi, a commendable initiative aimed at sensitizing young leaders on the importance of constructive communication, orchestrated by an international NGO dedicated to peace.

During this meeting, Anselme Muzalia Wimye, experienced trainer in strategic communication and digital management within the NGO Search Common Ground, emphasized the essence of transforming our approaches to conflicts, orienting them from simple contradiction to fruitful collaborations. According to him, each conflict contains an opportunity for evolution, the challenge lies in the way we manage it.

Anselme Muzalia Wimye invited the participants to develop a heightened sensitivity to conflicts, also encouraging them to adopt a reflexive attitude towards the information received or shared. He stressed the importance of filtering this information and assessing its impact, positive or negative, on the public.

For his part, Don Tshibanda Madiondo, peacebuilding expert at the NGO Search for Common Ground, encouraged the population of Lubumbashi to put these peaceful communication strategies into practice by advocating respect, tolerance and acceptance of others. He also recalled the importance of preserving one’s identity while prioritizing collaboration and putting forward community interests.

In short, the Lubumbashi workshop highlighted the urgent need for transparent and effective communication to foster collaboration and dialogue in the face of conflicts. It has, without a doubt, sown the seeds of a culture of peace and mutual understanding within society.
