A preventable tragedy: Reflections on road safety following the death of Elizabeth James

The tragic accident which occurred near Dalof filling station, Sagamu axis, Ogun State, has sent shockwaves through the local community. An unidentified vehicle traveling towards Sagamu violently hit a man and a woman near the main road.

The seriously injured victims were immediately transported to Live Well Hospital in Sagamu for emergency treatment. Sadly, the 22-year-old Elizabeth James from Sagamu succumbed to her injuries and died in hospital. His body was taken to the Fakoya Hospital morgue, plunging his family and the community into deep sadness.
