On this day of April 9, 2024, the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS/Tshisekedi) is showing off its preparation for the imminent formation of the next Government by setting up an Ambitions Management Commission. Under the leadership of the party’s Secretary General, Augustin Kabuya, a crucial meeting was convened aimed at harmonizing the objectives and aspirations of UDPS members.
In an official press release released this Sunday and relayed by Forum des As, Augustin Kabuya sought to dispel the rumors circulating around alleged lists already submitted for the future government. He firmly stressed that no list has been submitted to the competent authorities to date, thus calling on party members not to be influenced by erroneous information circulating on social networks.
The meeting scheduled for today is of capital importance, because it aims to clarify the procedure put in place for the management of ambitions within the UDPS. All members of national bodies, federations, sections, cells, as well as formal and informal structures, are invited to this moral exchange which will be held at the party headquarters. The agenda will revolve around how to manage the ambitions of members and potential candidates for ministerial positions, vice-ministers, representatives, advisors, and other functions.
Transparency and rigor will be essential during this meeting, aiming to ensure fair and equitable management of the aspirations of everyone within the UDPS. Augustin Kabuya also opened the door to members who had submitted their applications for positions within the future government, inviting them to join this meeting for a better understanding of the ongoing process.
In short, this meeting of the UDPS/Tshisekedi Ambitions Management Commission reflects the presidential party’s desire to guarantee transparent and democratic governance, where everyone’s aspirations are taken into account in a fair and equitable manner. Through this initiative, the UDPS affirms its desire to build a solid political future, based on collaboration and cohesion within its members.
