This operation aims to prevent the proliferation of illegal security groups and reduce the risks of security violations and criminal activities in the state. Maku warned all illegal security groups to cease their activities without delay, or else coercive action will be taken against them. He said any illegal organization would be dismantled, its operators apprehended, prosecuted, and any illegal weapons in their possession confiscated.
