This innovative program focuses on reintegrating former ex-Kuluna youth into society by providing them with training in the construction field. At Kaniama Kasese, these young people undergo intensive rehabilitation and training for two years before being deployed across the country to apply their newfound expertise. In the Nsele commune, a group is specially trained to craft benches that are later distributed free of charge to underprivileged schools. Additionally, these skilled artisans will contribute to the renovation of the Kintambo General Hospital and other upcoming construction projects.
General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik, the head of the National Service, emphasizes the significance of this initiative and the remarkable transformation of ex-Kuluna youth into productive members of society.
