“Rehabilitation of public schools in Nigeria: a crucial step towards quality education for all”

Nowadays, education is an essential pillar of the development of societies and a fundamental right for all children. This is why it is encouraging to see initiatives such as the accelerated rehabilitation of 19 public schools in Gwagwalada, FCT, Nigeria.

Dr. Danlami Hayyo, Mandated Secretary of Education, FCT Administration, announced this news recently during the inauguration of these schools. He highlighted the importance of this initiative, which aims to ensure that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, can benefit from quality education.

In addition to the renovation of public schools, the minister also relaunched the school sports festival, a tradition abandoned for 25 years. These actions demonstrate the Minister’s commitment to the holistic development of future leaders.

School rehabilitation is not only aimed at improving the learning environment but also providing students and teachers with quality facilities to ensure top-notch education. It is about laying the foundations for a promising future for our children, by providing them with an environment conducive to learning and the fulfillment of their dreams and aspirations.

Ultimately, this initiative reaffirms the commitment to ensuring that every child in the FCT has access to quality education in a safe and nurturing environment, conducive to their growth and transformation into leaders of tomorrow. It is a call to reflect on the importance of our common mission and to draw inspiration from the positive impact of our collective efforts.
