The announcement of the appointment of Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami as a member of the Ondo State government follows the dissolution of the State Executive Council by the governor, hours ago.

A native of Owo, Ondo State, Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami has over six decades of experience and an excellent academic background, with degrees from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and the University of Lagos .

His career in public service began in 1983 as Accountant II in the federal civil service.

Notably, Chief Adelami played a key role in the establishment of the National Assembly’s Department of Finance and Accounting, subsequently holding important positions such as Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting and later pioneering the Department of Finance and Accounting. Beyond his contributions to public service, Chief Adelami is recognized for his philanthropic commitment, particularly in the establishment and continued support of the Music Department of the School for the Blind, Gindiri, Plateau State.
