Dr. Ikpeme Neto is the founder of WellaHealth, a digital health insurance company based in Nigeria. WellaHealth’s innovative approach aims to address the high cost of traditional medical insurance by offering affordable plans that cover common illnesses such as malaria. Through partnerships with pharmacies, WellaHealth provides convenient access to tests and healthcare services, ultimately creating a more accessible and affordable healthcare system.
Thomas Njeru, CEO, and Co-founder of Pula Advisors Limited, has developed an agriculturally-focused insure-tech company in Kenya. Pula provides comprehensive coverage to smallholder farmers, protecting them against various perils such as drought, frost, floods, and plant diseases. By leveraging innovative technology and partnerships, Pula aims to enable all farmers in Africa to access insurance and improve their agricultural practices, ensuring sustainable livelihoods.
Ayman Bazaraa, from Egypt, is the CEO of Sprints, an ed-tech company focused on equipping young graduates with the skills and support they need to secure decent jobs. Sprints offers personalized learning paths and career support, empowering young individuals to thrive in the workforce. Bazaraa’s previous venture, Avelabs, showcased his commitment to the automotive industry and integrated solutions.
