Latest News: Martin Fayulu Criticizes Félix Tshisekedi’s Management in Kananga

As part of his presidential campaign, Martin Fayulu went to Kananga for a meeting to mobilize the population of the Grand Kasai region. During this event, Fayulu did not mince his words regarding the management of Félix Tshisekedi during his first mandate.

He strongly criticized the situation of the population of Kananga, speaking of “crying famine, absence of water, electricity and roads, and indescribable suffering”. Kananga is however considered a stronghold of Félix Tshisekedi, who is originally from the Kasai Central region. These statements from Fayulu therefore caused a lot of noise.

Furthermore, Martin Fayulu also held a press conference in Kananga. He explained that his party, Ecidé, had not presented candidates in the national and provincial legislative elections due to the non-respect of their demands by the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI). Fayulu nevertheless assured that he would respect the constitution and form a government in the event of victory in the presidential election, by appointing an informant to identify the parliamentary majority.
