“Explosion at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza: Footage reveals the truth behind the tragic incident”

The explosion at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza on October 17 continues to raise questions about its true cause. While Hamas accuses Israel of having bombed the hospital, the Israeli army claims that the explosion was due to an Islamic Jihad rocket which deviated from its trajectory. At this stage, it is difficult to draw definitive conclusions, but numerous videos and images circulating online help to reconstruct the events.

A video filmed by the Al Jazeera channel clearly shows a rocket deviating from its trajectory and exploding in mid-flight. A few seconds later, a first explosion on the ground is followed by a second explosion which hits Al-Ahli hospital. Videos shot from different angles confirm these facts.

Post-attack images show the hospital on fire, charred cars and numerous bodies counted in the courtyard of the establishment. Videos verified by the France 24 Observers team also show violent fires in the hospital parking lot, as well as a body found in an adjacent alley. The images also show dozens of lifeless bodies laid out on the grass, some mutilated or burned.

The day after the attack, new videos and photos were released showing charred cars, scattered debris and damaged barriers.

At this point, it is important to remember that no definitive conclusions can be drawn from the available images and videos. The relevant authorities are currently investigating to determine the exact circumstances of the explosion.

The explosion at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza once again highlights the tension and confusion in the region. The conflicting demands of the parties involved only increase the complexity of the situation. It is crucial to wait for the results of the investigations before drawing hasty conclusions. In the meantime, it is essential that the truth comes out and that those responsible for this tragedy are held to account.
