The disturbing story surrounding the widow of Ne Muanda Nsemi, leader of the Bundu Dia Kongo (BDK) movement, continues to make waves. Alarming information has emerged, accusing the late N’longi a Kongo’s wife of engaging in dubious maneuvers following the death of her husband.
According to reliable sources, after doctors announced the death of N’longi a Kongo, Prophetess Lubondo left the Nganda hospital in a hurry. She would have gone to their home to move certain movable property, the destination of which remains unknown.
This situation created great controversy and sparked outrage. Some accuse the widow of having acted cruelly by not respecting her husband’s mourning. A TikTok video was even published, showing the police presence in front of Ne Muanda Nsemi’s house and referring to the kidnapping of the widow and her children by BDK members.
However, the provincial president of BDM denied these allegations, saying that Ne Muanda Nsemi’s widow is not on the streets, but is being placed out of residence for her safety. This statement raises questions about the need to protect the widow outside the family residence.
The situation is all the more complex regarding the question of the succession of N’longi to Kongo. BDK members, the family and some Manianga dignitaries disagree on the place of burial of the deceased. Some believe that Ne Muanda Nsemi should be buried in Kinshasa, in his residence, while others think that he should be buried in his native village in Luozi territory.
Furthermore, during his lifetime, N’longi a Kongo had already designated national deputy Papy Mantezolo as his successor in 2016. However, it remains to be seen who will ultimately be chosen as successor after the burial of Ne Muanda Nsemi, the date of which has not yet been determined due to ongoing discrepancies.
The case of Ne Muanda Nsemi’s widow therefore continues to raise questions and divide opinions. Pending further information, we will closely monitor the development of this complex story.
