Title: Peaceful cohabitation between the Hema and Lendu communities: an inspiring example of harmony among children
Introduction :
In the Ituri region, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, more than 300 students belonging to the Hema community of Bogoro showed great initiative by offering gifts and educational materials to more than 500 students from the Lendu community of Kavelegaga. This action aims to promote peaceful cohabitation and the culture of peace among children. It was organized by the NGO Beacon of Hope and was hailed as an inspiring example of brotherhood without tribal or ethnic distinctions.

Students from Bogoro Primary School, made up mainly of members of the Hema community, traveled to Kavelegaga, a Lendu entity, to deliver classical objects and teaching materials to local primary schools. These kits include slates, globes, squares and compasses, and were purchased with the financial support of the NGO Beacon of Hope.
