Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation selection test: Encouraging academic excellence for a promising future
Every year, after the publication of the results of the state examination in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation organizes its famous selection test. This event aims to identify finalists who have obtained a score of at least 85% on the exam and who will be eligible for the prestigious Excellentia scholarship.
This year, the test took place at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN). The President of the Foundation, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, personally went there to encourage the participants and encourage them to give the best of themselves in order to be selected among the Excellentia scholarship holders.
The level test requires a minimum score of 70% to be able to benefit from the Excellentia scholarship, which offers full support for university studies for five years, whether abroad or in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This year, 234 students from different regions of the country, such as Lodja, Tshikapa, Kananga, Mbuji-Mayi, Goma, Lubumbashi, Mbanza-Ngungu and Kinshasa, participated in the test consisting of one hundred questions.
The Excellentia Program currently has 241 scholarship holders, of which 82 are enrolled in foreign universities and 159 are studying in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This initiative from the Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation aims to give young Congolese talents the opportunity to pursue quality higher education and contribute to the development of the country.
Through this selection test, the Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation encourages academic excellence and offers talented young Congolese the opportunity to conquer excellence in their respective fields. This initiative contributes not only to the personal development of beneficiaries, but also to the overall development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
