The renewal of governance in the Democratic Republic of Congo: Seth Kikuni submits his file to the Ceni
In a gesture of determination and hope, Seth Kikuni Masudi, unsuccessful candidate in the 2018 presidential election, submitted his file to the Independent National Electoral Commission (Ceni) for the second time. The leader of the political party “Piste pour l’urgence” presents himself as a credible alternative and wishes to bring real change to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Seth Kikuni Masudi highlighted his fight for change, initiated in 2018, and says his determination is even greater today. He presents himself as the candidate of hope, that of all those who believe in an emerging DRC, protective of its citizens and focused on their material well-being.
During his visit to the CENI, Seth Kikuni Masudi criticized the privileged treatment granted to the candidate of power and denounced the manipulations, slander and intimidation which marked this stage. He also highlighted the negative record of the current president, Félix Tshisekedi, and warned that the country would experience a real descent into hell if the latter was re-elected.
In a desire for leadership, Seth Kikuni Masudi launched a patriotic appeal to all opposition and resistance actors, inviting them to rally around his candidacy. He wishes to benefit from the support of personalities such as Augustin Matata Ponyo, Martin Fayulu Madidi, Moïse Katumbi Chapwe, Franck Diongo Shamba, Dr Denis Mukwege, Delly Sesanga Hipungu and Marie-Josée Ifoku.
The candidate highlights the need for a renewal of governance in the DRC. He affirms that the Congolese no longer want DIY and amateurism at the top of the State, nor dictatorial drift, lying speeches, false promises, embezzlement of public funds, generalized insecurity and electoral fraud. Seth Kikuni Masudi thus positions himself as a serious candidate determined to bring the change long awaited by the Congolese population.
By submitting his file to the CENI, Seth Kikuni Masudi affirms his desire to actively contribute to the political evolution of the DRC and to put an end to the inaction and mediocrity which have marked the country until now. He hopes that his call for opposition unity will be heard and that his candidacy will receive the necessary support to carry out his vision of emerging and responsible governance.
