“Nkema Liloo, the 17th presidential candidate in the DRC, emphasizes security and state authority”

Seventeenth candidate for the presidency of the Republic on the list of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), Nkema Liloo recently submitted his candidacy in Kinshasa. In a statement last Saturday, he outlined the priorities of his political vision, placing particular emphasis on restoring the security of people and their property, as well as reestablishing state authority over entire territory.

Nkema Liloo affirms that his approach aims to restore order and justice within Congolese society. He wants to see the authority of the State be fully restored, in order to guarantee the security of the Congolese and their property, the territorial integrity of the country, as well as the proper functioning of institutions. According to him, a strong, efficient State resolutely committed to resolving the daily problems of citizens is essential to promote development and maintain peace.

Former special security advisor to President Mobutu and former director of Zaire’s intelligence services, Nkema Liloo counts on his experience to propose concrete solutions to the challenges facing the country. Although he was twice an unsuccessful candidate for national deputy, he decided to enter the presidential race as an independent candidate, with the hope of making a real difference.

He also urges the CENI to fully play its role in the organization of the elections, in order to allow all political actors to participate transparently and fairly in the democratic process. According to Nkema Liloo, a strong and impartial CENI is essential to guarantee the legitimacy and credibility of the elections.

In conclusion, Nkema Liloo presents himself as a candidate committed to restoring the security of the Congolese, reestablishing state authority and promoting the development of the country. His experience in security and governance makes him a key player in the presidential race. It remains to be seen whether his vision and priorities will resonate with Congolese voters. The future will tell if Nkema Liloo will be able to realize his promises once elected as head of the Republic.
