Title: The local development program projects in Kasaï Central: A significant step forward for the region
Introduction :
The local development program (PDL) continues to make progress in the Kasai Central province. The Director General of the Central Coordination Office (BCeCo), Jean Mabi Mulumba, recently carried out a working mission to the region to inspect the progress of the projects. In this article, we will look at the various ongoing projects and their impact on the local population.
1. The administrative building of the Dibaya Territory:
The first site visited by the BCeCo delegation was the administrative building of the Dibaya Territory. Work began in April 2023 and has progressed considerably since then. Jean Mabi inspected the quality of the work and also made the population aware of the importance of the PDL for local development.
2. The new morgue of the Kananga provincial general reference hospital:
Work on the new morgue has also progressed, arousing the gratitude of the population towards the Head of State. Jean Mabi noted the progress of the work and ensured that quality standards were respected.
3. Kananga urban roads:
The BCeCo delegation also inspected the urban roads of Kananga, visiting several arteries of the city. Road stabilization work and the construction of water evacuation channels helped prevent erosion problems. To date, the work is more than 70% complete.
4. Educational and health projects:
The PDL is not limited to infrastructure, it also includes educational and health projects. The Muana Bute primary school and the Matamba health center were visited by the BCeCo delegation, which ensured the progress of the work and the quality of the infrastructure.
5. The widening of the Kananga-Kalamba Mbuji road:
Finally, the delegation went to the Kananga-Kalamba Mbuji road, where the road widening works are progressing well. This road is of capital importance for the region, making it possible to open up the provinces of Kasaï Central, Oriental, Sankuru, Kwilu and even the province of Lualaba. The work has already opened part of the road, thus facilitating trade and travel.
Conclusion :
The local development program continues to progress in the Kasai Central province, thanks to the efforts of BCeCo and its General Director, Jean Mabi Mulumba. The various projects underway demonstrate the commitment to the development of the region. Infrastructure, educational and health projects will help improve the quality of life of residents. The PDL thus opens up new perspectives for the province and marks a significant step forward in achieving local development objectives.
