Supervision of the activities of the National Social Security Fund in Mbuji-Mayi, DRC
The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Claudine Ndusi, recently undertook a trip to Mbuji-Mayi, capital of the Kasaï-Oriental province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Its objective was to supervise the payment of social benefits and the activities of the National Social Security Fund (SNCC).
As part of her visit, the minister expressed her concern to verify the smooth running of her ministry’s activities. She highlighted the importance of labor administration, labor inspection and employment administration, as well as the activities of the National Social Security Fund. Retirees, annuitants, widows and all people dependent on the general social security system are an integral part of it. Thus, ensuring the proper functioning of the SNCC was essential to ensure the quality of life of these individuals and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
