Rehabilitation of the Kenge-Musamba road: a bitter failure for the K2 company
The rehabilitation of road infrastructure is essential for the economic and social development of a region. Symphorien Kwengo, vice-president of this organization, denounces the company’s lack of efficiency and questions its selection by the central government.
This worrying situation prompted the consultation framework to call on the government, as well as local elected officials, for a monitoring and evaluation mission of the work. It is crucial to identify the reasons for this delay and to audit the use of funds allocated to the K2 company. Kwango civil society emphasizes the importance of selecting experienced and competent companies to avoid such failures in the future.
The spokesperson for the Kwango provincial government, Adélard Nkisi, recognizes the problems encountered with the K2 company. It highlights the poor choice made during its selection and highlights the lack of adequate equipment to carry out the work.
