In an effort to create a space for cultural sharing and to promote the harmony and identity of the Bwile community, the Mutuelle ukwanga kwa Babwile (MUBE) was recently launched in Pweto, in the province of Haut-Katanga in the Democratic Republic of of Congo. This initiative brought together a strong delegation from different parts of the country and even from neighboring Zambia. A space for cultural sharing:
Mutuelle ukwanga kwa Babwile places particular emphasis on the desire to live together in harmony and the transmission of the cultural identity of the Bwile community from generation to generation. It aims to bring together all of “Bwileland”, a territory comprising mainly the regions of Pweto, Moba, Manono and even in Zambia.
Mutual actions:
In addition to promoting Bwile culture and identity, the Mutuelle MUBE is also involved in charitable actions and the supervision of young people. In particular, it supports education, cultural promotion and grants study grants. Its ultimate goal is to contribute to the harmonious development of all sectors of Bwileland.
Personalities present at the ceremony:
The Mutual’s official exit ceremony was marked by the presence of renowned personalities. Among them are the Administrator of Pweto Territory, His Eminence Grand Chief of the M’pweto Chiefdom and His Majesty Senior Chief Puta of Zambia. Appreciation was also expressed to the Prime Minister of the DRC, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, for his support in the creation of the Mutuelle.
