Kindu Police reinforce security with free green numbers

The Congolese National Police (PNC) in the town of Kindu has recently taken steps to strengthen security and facilitate emergency response. Indeed, the PNC has set up three toll-free numbers to allow the population to contact the authorities in the event of an insecurity situation. The numbers in question are 0999951351, 0810466323 and 08158291, respectively for the deputy divisional commissioner, the P3 commander and the commander of the town of Kindu.

According to Captain Michel Lubunda, spokesperson for the police, these toll-free numbers were set up with the aim of establishing effective and timely communication with the population of Kindu in case of need. In addition to this measure, the police have also reinforced their presence on the ground with motorized and pedestrian patrols.

It is important to note that the old green numbers are no longer operational, and Captain Michel Lubunda urges the population of Kindu to use exclusively the new numbers made available to them.

This initiative of the PNC of Kindu testifies to its commitment to ensure the safety of the inhabitants of the city. By setting up these toll-free numbers and increasing patrols, the police seek to create a climate of trust and safety in the community. Residents can now be confident that their emergency calls will be answered quickly and efficiently.

In conclusion, the setting up of toll-free numbers by the Congolese National Police in Kindu is a commendable initiative which aims to facilitate emergency interventions in the event of insecurity
