News in the DRC: ARSP organizes a business dinner to promote economic diversification

On June 16, the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP) will organize a business dinner in Lubumbashi, under the leadership of its Director General, the Honorable Miguel Kashal Katemb. This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the role of the ARSP in the diversification of the national economy.

The ARSP, determined to realize the vision of the Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi to promote a real Congolese middle class, will highlight Congolese Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurship in order to allow them to access to sub-contractors in the Congolese mining industry.

This evening will bring together the authorities of the country, personalities and entrepreneurs, around presentations on the intervention of the ARSP in various areas of the economy such as the Law on subcontracting and the mining sector. The event will also allow guests to discuss obstacles and ways to overcome difficulties in promoting SMEs.

The ARSP plays a key role in the diversification of the national economy and has the task of regulating subcontracting in the private sector. It is thus committed to promoting a dynamic and expanding private sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This meeting is part of a series of ARSP initiatives aimed at promoting local entrepreneurship and SMEs in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It will be an opportunity for participants to learn, discuss and forge partnerships to promote the economic growth of the DRC.
