The achievements of the Central Coordination Office (BCECO) in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
For several months, the Central Coordination Office (BCECO), headed by Jean MABI, has been working actively to implement an ambitious government program. The latter aims to build and renovate essential infrastructure such as schools, health centers and administrative buildings across the country.
Recently, a BCECO delegation visited the field to assess the progress of the work undertaken. The observation is clear: the results are already visible and promising. Schools, health centers and administrative buildings have been built according to international standards in different localities such as Mbuji-Mayi, Kananga and others. Each construction is equipped with a solar system for lighting, thus allowing sustainable and economical use.
This first phase of the program, entrusted to the Local Executing Agencies, has already enabled the construction of 313 structures, including 189 schools and 124 health centres. The second phase, underway with the participation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), aims to build 418 additional structures, including administrative buildings, schools and health centers.
These concrete achievements demonstrate BCECO’s commitment and good work to meet the basic needs of the Congolese population. They also testify to the determination of Jean MABI and his team to carry out this project, despite the criticisms and detractors.
Beyond figures and infrastructures, this work contributes to the improvement of the living conditions of the Congolese. Schools provide a learning space conducive to students, health centers provide access to quality care, and administrative buildings facilitate administrative procedures for citizens.
It is important to emphasize that these advances are a significant step in the development of the country, but there is still much to do. The BCECO undertakes to continue its efforts for the delivery of the 731 works planned, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of the living conditions of the Congolese.
In conclusion, BCECO’s achievements bear witness to the importance of infrastructure investment for the socio-economic development of a country. Thanks to this ambitious program, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is moving towards a better future, where access to education, health and administrative services will be facilitated for all. The work of BCECO and its director Jean MABI deserves to be commended and supported for the well-being of the Congolese population
