“Thierry Monsenepwo defends the position of the Tshisekedi regime and calls for independent justice in the Democratic Republic of Congo”

The political situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) continues to arouse interest, as Congolese opponents, human rights NGOs and Western embassies denounce the dictatorial excesses of the regime in power. In this context, Thierry Monsenepwo, communicator for the Union Sacrée de la Nation, defends the attitude of the Tshisekedi regime towards the political opposition and human rights NGOs. According to him, Congolese justice must act independently and without political pressure to enforce the law.

Thierry Monsenepwo argues that Congolese opponents are trying to fill a dark track record against the Tshisekedi regime at all costs. He recalls that American justice condemned Donald Trump, an opponent of Biden, and French and South African justice condemned Sarkozy and Zuma, two opponents of the regimes in place. He therefore denies any influence of President Félix Tshisekedi on the legal disputes faced by opponents.

Regarding the opposition demonstrations, Thierry Monsenepwo explains that the difference lies in public opinion. According to him, the opposition seeks to make fun of the Congolese by evoking the high cost of living, but the citizens are aware that the claims of the opponents are not based on concrete facts. The objective of this opposition, according to Thierry Monsenepwo, is to stir up trouble in the country.

Finally, Thierry Monsenepwo denies any intervention by President Félix Tshisekedi on the choice of candidates for the upcoming elections. According to him, it is the electoral law that determines who will be retained as a candidate on the final lists and the Head of State has no power over this choice.

In short, the DRC is going through a political crisis that never ceases to provoke reactions from all sides. However, according to Thierry Monsenepwo, justice must act independently to enforce the law and guarantee order in the country.
