The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, received the credentials of four new ambassadors resident in Kinshasa, during a ceremony held at the Palais de la Nation. Among these new ambassadors is Zhao Bin, the new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, accompanied by his military attaché in the DRC. The other three ambassadors are respectively from the Republic of Senegal, Great Britain and Ethiopia.
President Tshisekedi thus continued his diplomatic exchanges with several countries, confirming his desire to revitalize the DRC’s relations with its foreign partners. This is part of a policy of openness and international cooperation with other nations, aimed at strengthening economic, commercial and political ties.
This high point in the diplomatic life of the DRC was preceded by the swearing in of the Attorney General at the Constitutional Court and three Advocates General. President Tshisekedi thus continues to work on the consolidation of the rule of law and the reform of justice, with a view to ensuring better functioning of institutions and promoting respect for human rights.
