The Minister of Sports of the Democratic Republic of Congo, François Kabulo Mwana Kabulo, spoke this Thursday, June 8 before Congolese senators about the next 9th edition of the Francophone Games which will take place in Kinshasa from July 28 to August 6, 2023. The Minister confirmed that the athletes who will participate in these games of the Francophonie will all be paid through the banking system. This choice was made by the Congolese government, in order to facilitate the payment of salaries and bonuses for athletes via the bank.
The Minister of Sports also declared that all the players participating in the match on June 18 have already been banked and have received their bank card, with funding for their account.
National coach Sébastien Desabre received his Swift yesterday and the late payment of his salary has already been settled. This announcement is a way to boost the national team for the playoffs.
