The DRC is lucky to have a Head of State who is dedicated to the development of his country. Senator Denis Kambayi of Kasaï Central, during a communication to the press, praised the leadership of Félix Tshisekedi during the DRC summit. The latter aims to make Congo an emerging country, as evidenced by the implementation of the Tshilejelu project. Although this project has experienced abuses, this does not fall on its responsibility, declared Denis Kambayi.
Supporting the continuity and completion of the projects initiated by Félix Tshisekedi is the mission of all Congolese as the next presidential elections approach. The country is on the way to becoming an emerging nation thanks to the many initiatives carried out by President Félix Tshisekedi.
While awaiting the results of the ballot, the Congolese are not sitting idly by: some are concentrating on making the country’s oil industry operational, while others are celebrating a historic victory for the Algerian football team. Meanwhile, BRICS foreign ministers reaffirm their call for UN reform in South Africa, and preparations for the upcoming Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa are advancing by leaps and bounds.
However, the country also faces major challenges. The Congolese opposition is fighting for an impartial CENI in the elections. Protests were violently repressed by the police, and the risk of internet shutdowns is real as the election approaches. Furthermore, the assassination of a civil society leader in the province of Beni highlights the need to resolve the problems of insecurity in the region.
Despite the obstacles faced, the DRC continues to move towards its emerging future thanks to the visionary leadership of Félix Tshisekedi and the hard work of his government.
