Program of 145 territories in the DRC: A mission from the General Inspectorate of Finance visits Mbuji-Mayi
A delegation from the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) led by Victor Batubenga Pandamadi recently visited Mbuji-Mayi, in the eastern province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The objective of this visit was to take stock of the flagship program of the Head of State Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi, namely the development of 145 territories in the country.
During his meeting with Attorney General Maurice Kama, Victor Batubenga underlined the importance of this visit to assess the progress of the program of 145 territories. He also spoke about the constraints encountered on the ground and the need to work in collaboration with the justice sector to solve these problems.
Before going to Mbuji-Mayi, Victor Batubenga reviewed the files and gave new directives to the finance inspectors on mission in the province. This evaluation made it possible to identify areas for improvement and ensure better performance in the implementation of the program.
The program of 145 territories is a priority for the Congolese Head of State who wishes to see balanced and harmonious development throughout the country. It aims to strengthen infrastructure, access to basic services such as health and education, and to stimulate economic activity in the most marginalized territories.
This visit to the IGF underlines the importance of guaranteeing transparent and efficient management of the resources allocated to this programme. The Finance Inspectorate plays a crucial role in the financial control and evaluation of projects, thus ensuring optimal use of public funds.
In conclusion, the visit of the General Inspectorate of Finance to Mbuji-Mayi as part of the 145 territories program demonstrates the Congolese government’s commitment to the development of all regions of the country. Thanks to close collaboration between the different institutions, it is possible to overcome the constraints and guarantee the success of this program which aims to improve the living conditions of the Congolese population
