Tension is rising in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with the forthcoming holding of a popular meeting initiated by opposition leaders. Delly Sesanga, Augustin Matata, Moïse Katumbi and Martin Fayulu signed correspondence inviting the people of Kinshasa to join them in discussing matters of national interest. These opposition leaders denounce the opacity of the voter identification and registration operation, the first stage of the electoral process, as well as the politicization of the CENI and the Constitutional Court.
