The Democratic Republic of Congo lost one of its eminent professors on May 27, 2023. The Lobo family announces with great sadness the death of their father and grandfather, Professor Lobo Kanza-Kanza. The funeral begins this Friday, June 2, 2023 and will take place as follows:
On Friday, June 2, 2023, anyone wishing to show their affection for the family of the deceased will be able to gather at the family home located on Tuema Avenue, number 18, Masanga-Mbila district, commune of Mont-Ngafula. A worship service of thanksgiving will precede the funeral wake.
On Saturday June 3, 2023, an academic tribute will be paid to Professor Lobo Kanza-Kanza at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Kinshasa. Personalities from the University will speak as well as friends and the Ituri community in Kinshasa. The wreaths will be laid as a sign of farewell and thanks for the work carried out by the deceased for the Nation. The funeral procession will then leave for the Kimberley Memorial Park cemetery, Matadi road, Diaki village, KONGO CENTRAL. Finally, a consolation swim will take place at the family home.
