Kasaï in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) launched the national primary school leaving examination (ENAFEP) 2023 edition with the participation of more than 52,000 finalist students, including 23,467 girls and 29,317 boys from the educational province from EPST Kasai 1.
The province’s deputy governor, Gaston Nkole, was present at the launch and encouraged candidates to concentrate and stay calm during the two days of testing. He underlined the importance of this exam for the future of the DRC and reminded the students of the importance of working with determination.
The exam took place free of charge throughout the national territory and ended on Friday, June 02, 2023. The results will be announced in the coming weeks and will determine the educational future of thousands of students.
This ENAFEP is proof of the solidity of education in the DRC, despite the persistent challenges in education and training. Passing this exam is an important step for the country, which must continue to improve access to education and guarantee the quality of teaching in all provinces.
