Title: The 145 territories program in the Democratic Republic of Congo: a priority for the Congolese government
Introduction: Since his inauguration, President Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi has placed the program of 145 territories at the heart of his action. In order to take stock of the progress of this program and overcome any constraints on the ground, a delegation from the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) went to Mbuji-Mayi, in the Orientale Province. During this visit, IGF members met with Attorney General Maurice Kama to discuss the implementation of the program.
Discussions to facilitate program implementation:
The objective of the IGF delegation was to meet the Attorney General in order to find solutions to the constraints encountered in the field within the framework of the 145 territories programme. Victor Batubenga Pandamadi, Deputy Head of the IGF, stressed the importance of this meeting to facilitate things and decant the problems on the ground. He also stressed that this program was a priority for President Tshisekedi.
The assessment of finance inspectors and the new directives:
Before their trip to Mbuji-Mayi, Victor Batubenga reviewed the files and gave new directives for a better performance of the finance inspectors on mission in the province. This evaluation will ensure better coordination and effective monitoring of the program of 145 territories.
