After finishing second in the previous games of the Francophonie organized in Côte d’Ivoire, the objective is clear: to do even better this time.
“Although we have organized the last games, we aim to win a large number of medals, regardless of their color. We have the ambition to surpass our performance at the 8th games of La Francophonie, where our wrestlers finished in second place. “, says Ki Daouda.

Côte d’Ivoire will participate in four sporting disciplines during these games in Kinshasa: athletics, judo, wrestling and Paralympic sports. It will be represented by 25 athletes accompanied by 7 supervisors. On the cultural level, the Ivorian delegation will be present in seven cultural competitions, such as Song, Tales, hip-hop, juggling, painting, literature and Sculpture, with 23 artists and 05 supervisors.
It should be recalled that in previous editions of the Francophone Games, Côte d’Ivoire won a total of 19 medals, including 6 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze.
